EATURED PHOTOGRAPHER: Daniel Huerta
A DOWN LOOK: IT’S A PHOTO SERIES: AN ARTICLE SERIES OF VISUALS FROM PHOTOGRAPHERS AROUND THE CITIES OF TEXAS. SHOWCASING CREATIVES EVERY WEEK.
On September 28, 2016, dancer Daniel Huerta, went on tour with Sesame Street Live: Make A New Friend. He became home sick pretty quick and then picked up a camera this past February and has been shooting ever since! He learned quickly how to manage the tools he needed, with a creative eye, and Lightroom, to make it come to life!
“When I’m shooting, whether it be an actual planned shoot or just me roaming the streets, I’m very big on capturing something that happens right then and there . Or I’m tying my shoe, look up and I’m at an angle I love right then and there. Of course when it comes to long exposure shots I take more of my time to make sure I’m in that “just right” set up for a clear shot.” – Daniel Huerta
“Sometimes when I’m doing portraits for someone, and the subject is having trouble finding that right pose I often tell them to do something they do to fix themselves up. Fix your collar, brush your fingers through your hair, mess with your sleeve, etc. Or Ill say something to make them laugh and get them at their peak of their smile! I love what I do and I want my clients to feel so as well.” – Daniel Huerta
