In pure torta nirvana. The Down Market/Sundown United squad, we finished up our last bites of Chef Jorge Rojo’s signature Torta Ahogada, before we ask for seconds… ok, thirds. Almost any part of the week you can find most of us, if not two or three of us, in a comatose food delight at Ro-Ho Pork&Bread, a small torta & taco bar connected to Sanitary Tortilla Co., one of the oldest tortilla factories in Texas. Ro-Ho’s Tortas brings in such a large and diverse crowd in the growing West Side of Down Town San Antonio. We decided to explore and get up way early (5:30am) and stay the whole day with Chef Jorge and find out what makes Ro-Ho tortas so amazing!
